While it’s impossible to predict how long you might benefit from sessions, most of my clients see me for at least a few months. Everyone is different in terms of the role they want therapy to play in their life; some view it as a form of self-care and come long-term (over 20 sessions), while others use it as a short-term tool to help them get through a hard time. Your choice!
I recommend clients begin weekly or biweekly (every other week) to build momentum and see improvement more quickly. Later on we can reduce frequency if you are no longer needing or wanting as much support.

Most of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, family or relationship issues, and/or past experiences, even if they came in for one of my specialties. This is totally fine and expected. I understand that you are a whole person with complex problems, and we will look at the full picture in therapy.

I usually see clients between 10am and 6pm, although 5pm appointments are few and often already claimed.
Clients who work standard business hours (9am-5pm) are sometimes able to attend therapy during their lunch break (eating is fine!) or make an arrangement with their employer to leave earlier or arrive later one day a week.

I do not. Currently, I see clients ages 15 and older because those are the ages I’ve found I serve best.

Absolutely! I’m aware that some of my specialty areas are stereotypically “women’s issues,” but they absolutely apply to men and nonbinary folks too.
